1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of ieilio.com and the Leil Storage distributed file system software and early-access program (collectively, the "Service") operated by Leil Storage OU ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") (5 Tornimae, Tallinn 10145, Estonia). By accessing or using the Service you accept these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the laws of your country of residence.

Leil Storage is an HDD-native distributed file system designed for AI training workloads. During our current design-partner stage we work closely with a limited number of early-access clusters to tune performance for specific training pipelines. These Terms apply to all tiers: Developer (free), Production, and Enterprise.

2. Use of the Service

• You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding agreement, or have appropriate organisational authority if acting on behalf of a legal entity.
• You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with the operation of the Service or its infrastructure, or to attempt unauthorised access to any component of the system.
• You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the Service software except to the extent expressly permitted by mandatory law or a separate written agreement with the Company.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of credentials associated with your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
• Acceptable use: the Service is intended for storing and serving AI training datasets, model checkpoints, and related large-scale sequential-read workloads. Use for purposes materially outside this scope requires prior written consent.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the Leil Storage distributed filesystem software, documentation, website, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose as described in the applicable tier documentation. No other rights are granted.

4. Your Data

You retain all rights to data stored in or processed by the Leil Storage Service ("Customer Data"). You are responsible for the content and legality of Customer Data you introduce into the Service. You grant the Company a limited licence to use, store, and process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. We will not use Customer Data to train machine-learning models without your explicit written consent. We do not sell Customer Data to third parties.

5. Early-Access Program Terms

During the design-partner stage, Production and Enterprise customers participate in a structured early-access program. As part of this program:

• We will work with your infrastructure team to profile your workload pattern and tune cluster configuration;
• You agree to provide reasonable technical feedback, including benchmark results and workload characteristics, to help improve the product;
• Performance metrics and configuration details from your deployment are treated as confidential and will not be disclosed without your consent;
• Pricing, SLA terms, and feature availability during early-access may differ from general availability terms; the applicable terms are those agreed in your subscription agreement or order form.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are in early-access stage and do not yet claim production-fleet uptime guarantees unless specifically agreed in a written Enterprise SLA. We disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer warranties applicable under the laws of your country of residence are not affected.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid the Company in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) EUR 100. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its officers, employees, and contractors from and against any third-party claims, losses, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from: (a) your use of the Service in breach of these Terms; (b) Customer Data you provide to the Service; or (c) your violation of any third-party right.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms and fail to remedy the breach within 14 days of written notice. On termination you may request an export of Customer Data within 30 days; after that period we may delete it subject to any legal retention obligations. Sections 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, and this paragraph survive termination.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia and applicable EU law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tallinn, Estonia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you hold under the laws of your country of residence. If you are a consumer within the EU, you also have the right to seek resolution through your local courts or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. For questions about these Terms, contact:
